A maximum field of 20 will go to post for the £100,000 Coral Sprint Trophy, the highlight of the final day of York's 2018 season on saturday.

It's a typically competitive 6 furlong dash, with three Yorkshire yards of Tim Easterby, Richard Fahey and Kevin Ryan responsible for half the field.

Ayr Gold Cup third Flying Pursuit is one of the leading hopes and will again be ridden by Rachel Richardson, who has enjoyed considerable success through the years in races such as this down the York straight.

Ebor Preview- Callum Rodriguez

The Scottish trained Nakeeta bids to become the first horse since the 1920's to land back to back runnings of Europe's richest handicap when he lines up in the £500,000 Skybet Ebor on the final day of the Welcome to Yorkshire Festival.

Iain Jardine's stable star is part of a maximum field for the most valuable running of York's flagship race, which features four challengers from Ireland. including the heavily backed favourite Stratum.

Young jockey Callum Rodrigues enjoyed the best day of his career when riding Nakeeta a year ago, and he's in the saddle again.
