Tom Barnes Restaurant
Tom Barnes is known for his intuitive cooking style and appreciation for seasonal ingredients. Tom opened his first solo restaurant, Skof, in Manchester, in May 2024. The restaurant, located in the city's historic NOMA district, lives within a former drapery warehouse built by the city's storied Co-Operative Movement. Following a sensitive restoration which exposed beautiful Victorian brickwork and tiling inside the listed building, Skof opened with 36 covers and a 'Pass Table' where all guests dining from one of the two tasting menus are invited to take one course.
Tom has won The Roux Scholarship and wowed on BBC2's Great British Menu, where he won the main course at the final banquet.
His work as executive chef for Simon Rogan's three Michelin-starred L'Enclume, one Michelin-starred Rogan & Co, Henrock, and Home by Simon Rogan was instrumental to the group's success.
