Stamp and Coin Fair

The York Stamp & Coin Fair has been running since the 1980s and continues to attract leading stamp, postal history, coin, banknote and medal dealers from around the world.

Visitors are welcome to come and browse, make purchases or simply learn more about these fascinating subjects. There are often specialist society meetings to which everyone is welcome, whether a member or not, where guest speakers discuss their particular interests and collections.

In addition, visitors are encouraged to bring their own collections for a professional valuation or, indeed, to sell.

Admission to the fair is free and there is also free car parking available on the road and in designated car parks. When energy levels begin to drop, there is a bar on the first floor and a self-service restaurant on the ground floor serving hot and cold meals, snacks and coffee/tea.
