YORK UNIVERSITY ANNUAL BALL - 2 JUNE

York Racecourse congratulates the students of York University on their academic achievements and wishes them an enjoyable evening at their Annual Ball on Tuesday 2^nd June.

An evening of entertainment is scheduled however the organisers have adapted the plans, cognisant of the evolving environment, notably the presence of residential properties in the area.

The event is being run by the University and its team, not the racecourse itself, and has been planned in accordance with City of York Council guidance.

Between 4pm-10.30pm, there will be outdoor music and the sounds of a funfair, the external music is scheduled to stop at 10.30pm.

There maybe some sound checks and set up noise, earlier in the day, this will be kept to the minimum needed to deliver the event.

The event is due to end at 3am, both arrival and exit phases will be marshalled by a qualified team employed by the organisers.
