SUCCESS OF WELCOME TO YORKSHIRE EBOR FESTIVAL WINNERS

Officials at York Racecourse say they're thrilled at the weekend classic success of horses that won at the Welcome to Yorkshire Ebor Festival last month.

The unbeaten Logician followed up his victory in the Skybet Great Voltigeur by winning the worlds oldest classic, the William Hill St Leger at Doncaster.

Then 24 hours later the Irish trained Search for a Song followed up Knavesmire glory by beating her elders in the Irish St Leger.
