York Racecourse was delighted to be recognised at the Racecourse Owners Association Awards as joint winners of the ROA Gold Standard Large Racecourse of the Year Accolade with Chester Racecourse.

It was also a delight to see Welcome to Yorkshire Ebor Festival winner’s Enable, Stradivarius, Dakota Gold and Battaash winners in their categories.

Commenting on the success, Chief Executive and Clerk of the Course, William Derby, said, ‘A lovely way to end what has been a busy and successful year on the Knavesmire.’
