NO JACKET REQUIRED FOR JOHN SMITH'S CUP MEETING

The John Smith's Cup Meeting (10th & 11th July) is forecast to be staged in warm sunshine.

In response to the hot and sunny weather, the decision has been taken to relax the requirement for jackets in the County Stand & Hospitality areas.

As these remain smart areas, a collared shirt and tie is still the dress code, a short-sleeved shirt is absolutely fine; as are appropriate shorts.

In Grandstand & Paddock as well as Clocktower Enclosure, shorts and T-shirts have long been a choice for racegoers.

There is plenty of fresh air with shade on Stands side provided by canopies & parasols. The main stands have air conditioning.

Drinking water is available FREE of charge from all the main bars and from outdoor drinks fountains. Though racegoers are advised to bring their preferred suncream, there will be some available in the free dispensers.
