Music This Weekend

We are looking forward to our annual Music Showcase Weekend.

On Friday evening: Gates open at 4pm with the first race at 5.32pm.

Craig David presenting TS5 will take to the stage around 8.45pm finishing by 10.30pm.

On Saturday: Gates open at 11:15am, with sporting action underway at 1:30pm.

Tom Grennan will perform after racing, which is due to end by approximately 7pm.

Those wishing to join for either day can still purchase County Stand, Grandstand & Paddock or Clocktower Enclosure tickets on both days.

Clocktower Enclosure remains a great option for a picnic; it is only ever available for sale on the raceday itself. There is a view of the stage from across the track , with giant screens and a Festival quality sound system bringing the music to the infield..

Adults are £20 for this area with accompanied U18s free of charge.

Accompanied under18s are admitted free into Clocktower Enclosure and for £15 on Stands Side.

The artists will be conducting sound checks on Friday as well as on Saturday morning; a key reason for this is so that the appropriate sound levels can be set ahead of the actual concerts, with each artist needing to find their own level.

The event has been planned with the knowledge of City of York Council, so in accordance with their guidelines.
