Conference & Events FAQs

How can guests travel to York?

York train station is one mile from York Racecourse and taxis are available directly outside the station. It is also easily accessible by car from all major transport routes.  From the A64 follow the A1036 (Tadcaster Road) north towards York City Centre and then along Knavesmire Road. For those wishing to use satellite navigation, we have an exclusive postcode of YO23 1EX. There is ample free parking on Racecourse Road.

Are there any cash points available?

Cards and cash are accepted across the site. If you wish to use cash you are advised to bring this with you as there are limited ATM machines which have queues at busy times and charge £2 per withdrawal.

Cash machines are located on the ground floor of the Knavesmire, the foyer of the Gimcrack Stand, back of the clock tower in the Clocktower enclosure, and by the Frankel statue.

What are the provisions for diasbled guests?

York Racecourse is committed to providing an accessible environment for all.

Rachel Crabtree is our designated Access Officer. Rachel is available to discuss the provision of special disability arrangements and to assist with any queries.
