Build the Future Apprenticeship Fair

As part of National Apprenticeship Week 2022 The Apprenticeship Hub are bringing employers and future apprentices together for an opportunity to connect on Thursday 10th February. The Build the Future Apprenticeship Fair will see employers from a wide range of sectors showcasing the different apprenticeship they have on offer, as well as a range of organisations that can provide you with advice, guidance and support on what an apprenticeship is, what’s available, and how to get started. The fair will run from 11am to 7pm and attendees are welcome to drop in at any time throughout the day to browse the employer stalls and learn more about the wide range of opportunities available.

Who should attend?

• Anyone interested in finding local apprenticeship opportunities/vacancies
• Anyone wanting information, advice or guidance about apprenticeships
• Upcoming school leavers or college graduates looking for future career opportunities
• Adults looking to start a new career
• Parents, carers, teachers, or anyone who wants to support young people with their career paths
• Businesses looking for support and guidance with taking on an apprentice, or upskilling their current workforce
• Schools and colleges are also welcome to attend as groups

Admission to the fair is completely free and there’s plenty of free parking available on Racecourse Road. There will also be a cafe available on the day for attendees to purchase hot and cold food and beverages that will be open until 5:30pm.

The event will be hosted by The Apprenticeship Hub in collaboration with the City of York Council Skills Team. The Apprenticeship Hub is part funded by the European Social Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020.
