York Racecourse Announces Tom Grennan As First Music Act for 2026

Singer-songwriter, Tom Grennan, has been confirmed as the first music artist who will perform at York Racecourse during the 2026 season.

The award-winning vocalist will headline on Music Showcase Saturday, 25^th July 2026.

Grennan has already secured two UK Number One albums, including a host of commercially successful singles such as "This Is the Place", "By Your Side" with Calvin Harris , "Remind Me", "All These Nights", "Here" and "How Does It Feel"

The Knavesmire gig will form part of a busy touring schedule for a singer also known for his podcast, You About? with Roman Kemp.

Racing and music fans can take advantage of a price freeze on adult general admission on the track’s own website, meaning entrance to the main Grandstand and Paddock enclosure, starts at just £40 per person for a group of six.* As well as free car parking, there are no booking fees on this route to purchase.

On the racecourse itself, the racing action will see seven thoroughbred contests with combined prize money of £380,000. The feature race is a Group Two, the Sky Bet York Stakes.

It promises to be a fun-filled summer for racing and music fans as there are four other racedays scheduled for this popular time of year; beginning with Summer Music Saturday (27 June), the traditional highlight of the 67^th John Smith’s Cup Meeting (Friday 10 and Saturday 11 July) will be followed by the opening Friday evening of Music Showcase Weekend itself at the end of July.
