The field for the mile contest includes Here Comes When, who won the Grade One Sussex Stakes last summer.

As usual Jimmy Sullivan will be on board the nine year old Sovereign Debt, last seen finishing fourth in a Group 3 race on Derby Day at Epsom.

Jet Streaming set for the inaugural G3 Al Basti Equiworld Dubai Brontë Cup

Trainer Ian Williams is hoping his recent stable recruit Jet Streaming will step up on her seasonal debut in the first running of the £90,000 Al Basti Equiworld Dubai Brontë Cup at York on Saturday 26 May.

6 runners go to post for the inaugural Group 3 over the Ebor distance brought in this year to give fillies' extra opportunities at staying distances.

Jet Streaming moved to Ian Williams yard from Adrian Keatley in Ireland in the closed season and Williams is hoping for a good day on the Knavesmire.

Stradivarius takes the MansionBet Yorkshire Cup

The odds on favourite Stradivarius has romped to victory in the MansionBet Yorkshire Cup, the feature race on the final day of the Dante Festival.

He booked his place in next months Gold Cup at Ascot with a three length success over Desert Skyline with the Royal hope Call to Mind third.

Roaring Lion impressive winner of the Betfred Dante

Roaring Lion has run out a hugely impressive winner of the Betfred Dante Stakes and looks set to take on his old rival Saxon Warrior in the Investec Derby a fortnight on Saturday.

Trained by John Gosden, he beat a class field by four and a half lengths with the Yorkshire trained Mildenberger second and outsider Zabriskie third.

The bookmakers have reacted by slashing Roaring Lion's price for Epsom, even though he has been beaten twice by the classic favourite Saxon Warrior.
