Michael Andrews on the Macmillan Ride of Their Lives

Added: Friday 20th May 2022

It's now less than a month until a dozen brave jockeys enjoy the thrill of riding on a raceday at York, in the annual Ride of their Lives.

The event is the finale on our June Saturday and like everything on the day will be in support of Macmillan, the cancer charity.

The riders were named at Christmas and have been hard at work since both fund rasing and getting themselves into shape for the Ride of their Lives.

It'll be a poignant occasion for one of them, Social Media Manager Michael Andrews, who has revealed the part stricken jump jockey Josh Moore has played in his story.

Michael has been speaking with Mike Vince.
