Getting to York Racecourse
Walking - The Venue is approximately 25 minutes walk from both the main train station and the city centre
Shuttle Buses - These will be running to and from the train station for the event and the cost of £2 per journey or £3 return should be paid when getting on the bus.
Train Stations - York
Car - Being a Roman city, York's road infrastructure has limited capacity and is very busy on a normal Saturday. Those coming to the venue by car on the day of the event should therefore be prepared for significant delays on both the entry and exit phase. Residents permit schemes are enforced in the areas around the racecourse and so it is not advisable to try by car without pre-booking parking.
