Flying filly Highfield Princess is all set to go for the defence of her Group 1 Coolmore Nunthorpe Stakes, the feature race on day 3 of the Ebor Festival at York.

Trained by John Quinn at nearby Malton she bright the house down with a memorable victory a year ago, and having won the King George Stakes at Goodwood last time will arrive on the Knavesmire primed and ready to go.

Michael Shinners after the Ebor Draw

The favourite Sweet William has been drawn in Stall 3 in saturday's £500,000 Sky Bet Ebor at York.

Trained by John and Thady Gosden and with Rab Havlin set to ride he comfortably achieved his target of getting into the race,

The draw took place in the winners enclosure at York Racecourse and Skybet's Michael Shinners has given Mike Vince his reaction.

Owen Burrows on Sky Bet York Stakes Victory

ALFLAILA, ridden by Andrea Atzeni has landed the Group 2 Sky Bet York Stakes, the feature of the second day of York's Music Showcase Weekend.

He stormed to the front in the dying strides to land the prize on his first start for 294 days, and make it 2 from 2 at the track having won the 2022 Symphony Group Strensall Stakes.

Cam Hardie preview of the Sky Bet Dash

Jockey Cam Hardie is hoping for a landmark success when he lines up on the Anthony Brittain trained Mondammej in the Sky Bet Dash, the feature handicap on the final day of the York Music Showcase Weekend.
