Further Booking Information

Our online booking system will guide you through booking the booking process to advance book tickets and badges for York Racecourse. If you encounter problems please call the bookings team on (01904) 620911 who will be pleased to take your order over the phone or help with general queries and enquires.

A complete raceday leaflet (with map) will be enclosed with all badges/tickets. All tickets will be sent to the party organiser. Late bookings will be held for collection and the racecourse reserves the right to keep tickets/badges for collection rather than postal delivery. Free car parking available on all days. Information on disabled access is available here or by request.

- Early bird discounts apply to bookings for the main County Stand by the given date:

51st John Smith's Cup Meeting - 30th June, 4.30pm
Music Showcase Meeting – 14th July, 4.30pm
Ebor Festival – 4th August, 4.30pm
September Meeting – 25th August, 4.30pm
October Finale Meeting – 29th Sept, 4.30pm

- Group discounts are only applicable when tickets/badges are booked in advance. A FREE ticket/badges will be included for every 20 tickets/badges purchased. Accredited coach drivers driving a party will be admitted free of charge to Course Enclosure when parking in the Coach Park. On the production of bone-fide worksheets to the Coach Park supervisor an entry voucher will be issued.

- For the Ebor Festival there is both a four day and three day admission. The three day admission can be used on any choice of ANY three days, i.e. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Tuesday, Thursday, Friday etc. Badges are strictly non-transferable.

- Juniors and over 65’s cannot be booked in advance as proof of age is required, those requesting these concession must provide formal supporting documentation: a UK driving licence, government issued ID card or passport are acceptable. Children under 16 are admitted free with accompanying adult.

- Music Showcase terms and conditions -

1) The standard policy for transfers/upgrades will apply during racing, for example if racegoers wish to transfer between Course Enclosure and Grandstand & Paddock then, subject to availability, they will be able to do so on payment of the upgrade fee of £10. Transfers will not be possible during the concerts.

2) These are integrated events and admission is not available on a "concert only" basis; indeed the gates will be closed at the time of the last race. THERE WILL BE NO ADMISSION AFTER THE LAST RACE ON EACH DAY.

3) Approximate timings for the music are as follows: Friday evening 8.30pm-10pm; Saturday 5.30pm to 7pm.

4) The artists have been confirmed however circumstances beyond their control (e.g illness) may require a late change; please check the website for news closer to the event. If this is known 48 hours before the raceday customers retain the right to cancel their booking and receive a full refund. As the music is part of the wider raceday experience then no refund will apply if unforeseen circumstances change or prevent the musical performance on the day itself.

5) The position of the stage for 2010 is at the southern end of Bustardthorpe Lawn on the main grandstand side. We will make good use of the giant screens and sound system to enhance the experience for all racegoers. The new stage will be bigger and with a better sound and light system than any of the previous versions. Please note in order to get closest to the stage racegoers will need to book entry to County Stand or Grandstand & Paddock.

- Melrose Club Lounge terms and conditions -

- Melrose Club can be booked in advance and will only be available on the day subject to availability.
- Any cancellation within 48hours of a raceday will not qualify for a refund.
- Where applicable the early bird County Stand discount will apply.
- York Racecourse reserves the right to withdraw the Melrose Club Lounge to new bookings or amend the price for new bookings at any point.
- Standard terms and conditions of entry still apply.
- In the unlikely event that the Melrose Club Lounge is not available on any given day then booked customers will be given the option of a full refund of the fee or transfer to another facility.
- Please note under 5's attend for free and children between the ages of 5 to 15 attend for £25 (racegoers in this age bracket are not charged an admission when accompanied by a paying adult). 16 years and over are required to pay £50 plus appropriate County Stand badge price.
- Consistent with the informal lounge style bookings are limited to 20 people per party.

- September Family Sunday - Where reference is made to free ice cream, a free ice cream voucher will be included in every racecard (racecards are complimentary for those County Stand badgeholders) on the day.

- Classic Bet terms and conditions -

1) Standard terms & conditions of admission apply.
2) Offer applies to advance booked badges and tickets for general admission to County Stand and Grandstand and Paddock; admission to hospitality areas, Melrose Club Lounge, complimentary entry, prize winners and Course Enclosure do not qualify.
3) The qualifying English Classics are the Investec Derby and Investec Oaks at Epsom in June 2010.
4) As the offer is open to those who book in advance, the racecourse will have details of names and addresses and will contact those eligible by 20 September 2010.
5) As the offer is intended to reward those who attend in May then the following special conditions apply;
a. only 1 admission per person per day will apply.
b. a maximum of 6 tickets or badges will be provided to any group booking, in order to be eligible for more entries the group organiser will be required to submit the names and addresses of group members by June 31st.
c. York reserves the right to request proof of identity to claim any free admission.
d. York may require the badges to be collected in person.

- All entry prices are per person and inclusive of VAT at 17.5%.

The services that York Racecourse provides to you are subject to the following Terms and Conditions ("T&C"). York Racecourse reserves the right to update the T&C at any time without notice to you.
