York winners land more major prizes

Big race winners at York continue to impress on their subsequent runs. In the space of an afternoon on Saturday September 4th two of them landed big prizes. First up was Hooray, the Sir Mark Prescott trained winner of the Jaguar Cars Lowther Stakes who has now beaten the colts as well after taking the Group Three totepool Sirenia Stakes at Kempton in record time. Later in the day,  Cape Blanco added the Tattersalls Millions Irish Champion Stakes to a list of victories that include an Irish Derby and the totesport Dante at York back in May. The three year old is trained by Aidan O'Brien and beat stable mate Rip Van Winkle into second with Twice Over finishing third.
