Fahey and Hanagan take early championship lead
The Richard Fahey and Paul Hanagan double have extended their lead in the top jockey and trainer championships here at York.
Paul Hanagan won the European Breeders' Fund Maiden Stakes on the Fahey trained El Viento. Fahey now has 10 winners under his belt and extends his lead in the Minster Jaguar Top Trainer championships as the season draws to a close. Hanagan now has 9 winners on the Knavesmire to extend his lead in the overall championship aswell as the Living North Top Jockey championship.
