2010 Package range launched

York Racecourse has announced the return of its popular range of advanced booked deals that include admission, food and a drink. Racegoers can make savings of over 15% by booking these deals in advance of the raceday. There is a range of offers covering the County Stand and Grandstand and Paddock areas.

Customers can opt for a taste of luxury with the summer favourite  "Fish and Fizz" that combines a glass of Grand Marque Champagne as well as a seafood platter with admission to the County Stand. New to the line up this season is the "County Carvery", a combination of admission, chef's carvery and a drink. Racegoers to Grandstand and Paddock will welcome back the Knavesmire Meal Deal that combines admission, a wide choice of meals from the Knavesmire restaurant and a drink. Picking up the seafood theme, the Roberto Bar will offer a luxury boxed salad and a glass of fizz in a package linked to Grandstand and Paddock entry.  Completing the set is the  "Tea for £2.50" offer that combines the traditional racing favourite of a full afternoon tea with County Stand admission for just the £2.50 more than the on the day admission price. Our range of packages for the 2010 season have been designed to save you over 15%** on the standard price of admission, food and a drink as well as providing you with the convenience of planning and paying for elements of your day in advance. 

There are sit-down meal options for both the County Stand and Grandstand & Paddock, both including a drink. In the County Stand, there is a classic fish and fizz package ideal for those wishing to celebrate a special occasion. An afternoon tea option lets you enjoy a tradition of the English Summer.

County Stand Special Offers

Fish & Fizz in the County Stand
£10 and badge price (Save 14%* at the Dante Festival)

- County Stand offer only

Family Day County Stand Sunday Roast

Admission to the County Stand and racecard included in this special Sunday lunch event celebrating Family Sunday for a £20 top-up on full entry in the County Stand enclosure. The lunch will be served in one of County Stand rooms and the exact location will be communicated to customers when their badges are dispatched nearer to the raceday.

Terms and conditions:
Packages can only be booked up to 48 hours before the race meeting.
Any cancellation within 48hours of a raceday will not qualify for a refund
These offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
For every 20 booked and paid for there will be one package free.
All days and offers are subject to availability
York Racecourse reserves the right to withdraw these offers to new bookings or amend the price for new bookings at any point.
Location of serving the offer may vary at discretion of the racecourse.

There is the opportunity for extra guests who have bought their admission on the day,  to enjoy the food with those who have booked the packages  in advance , as the various food choices will be available to purchase from an on the day menu (subject to capacity on the specific day).
*Saving is compared to the price of admission on the day in question to the racecourse and compared to the price of the food and drinks on the day.
** An example of a saving of over 15% would be the Knavesmire Meal Deal for any day of the Dante Festival which equates to a 17% reduction compared to the full price on the day.

Melrose Club Lounge terms and conditions:

Melrose Club can be booked in advance and will only be available on the day subject to availability.
Any cancellation within 48hours of a raceday will not qualify for a refund
Where applicable the early bird County Stand discount will apply.
All days are subject to availability
York Racecourse reserves the right to withdraw the Melrose Club Lounge to new bookings or amend the price for new bookings at any point.
Standard terms and conditions of entry still apply.
There is the opportunity for extra guests who have bought their admission on the day to enjoy the Melrose Club Lounge with those who have booked in advance , subject to payment of the daily upgrade fee and available capacity on the specific day.
In the unlikely event that the Melrose Club Lounge is not available on any given day then booked customers will be given the option of a full refund of the fee or transfer to another facility.
