YORKSHIRE TRAINERS TASTE SUCCESS ON JOHN SMITH'S CUP DAY

The 48th John Smith’s Cup Day proved to be a successful day for Yorkshire Trainers this year. The John Smith’s Cup was a momentous occasion for Richard Fahey as horses trained by him came in to claim first (Charlie Tokyo) and second place (Flying Clarets). This was later followed up with a win for Dark Tara, also trained by Fahey, in the fifth race of the day.

Prospect Court, trained in the borders by Alistair Whillians just pipped Paris Bell, trained by Tim Easterby past the post to prevent a Yorkshire clean sweep on the day.
