COOLMORE TO SPONSOR THE NUNTHORPE

The £220,000 Group 1 Nunthorpe Stakes has found a new sponsor in the shape of Coolmore Stud. The Stud's manager Christy Grassick said: "We already sponsor Group 1 races in Ireland and France are now delighted to be associated with one of Britain's premier sprints and look forward to meeting many of our clients at York in August."

Chief Executive and Clerk of the Course at York racecourse William Derby said; "we are thrilled to welcome Coolmore as the new sponsor of the Nunthorpe Stakes- Britain & Ireland's only Group 1 event over 5 furlongs."
