ROBERTO PAVILION AND ECLIPSE RESTAURANT ADD TO THE DINING OPTIONS FOR 2006...

In order to accommodate more racegoers keen to enjoy an all inclusive day at the races, York Racecourse has added the Roberto Pavilion to its 2006 hospitality options.
This double decked Pavilion offers a view of the home straight and is located to the South of the Knavesmire Stand, in an area that was popular during Royal Ascot at York last year.
The Pavilion offers a choice of menus as well as tote betting facilities and dedicated toilets.

It is also avialable as a "club" faciliy for the Ebor Festival (August 22nd, 23rd, 24th) when racegoers can purchase a package to include; County Stand admission, racecard, access to the pavilion, morning coffee, four course gourmet luncheon, full afternoon tea, champagne reception, complimentary bar for £230+vat per person. Also new for 2006 is the ECLIPSE RESTAURANT located on the fifth floor of the modern Ebor Stand, the style of the restaurant is contemporary and the menu, wide ranging. There is a selection of seafood as well as traditional favourites such as beef amongst the choices. A three course luncheon is available for £39 per person and this includes a half bottle of wine for each diner. As the restaurant is part of the County Stand enclsosure, racegoers must also have a valid admission badge for County Stand.

The restaurant is intended to provide lunch for those racegoers who wish to have a three course meal in restaurant surroundings before using the wider areas of the County Stand to follow the sport, consequently tables are only reserved for the lunchtime period.
